Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of Lee County Court Docket. Visiting a page, reading its content, or choosing a search service signals agreement to the terms below. A person who does not agree should stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. Lee County Court Docket is privately operated and has no affiliation with a court or government agency. It is not a consumer reporting agency or private investigation service. Neither the website nor its advertising partners offers a service for a decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. Its purpose is to identify Alabama court docket and case-record access channels.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, not a Lee County or State of Alabama service. It does not hold official court records and cannot retrieve a file, alter a setting, submit a pleading, or take action in any case.

The website describes the Circuit Clerk of Lee County, the Circuit and District Courts, separate municipal and probate custodians, and the Alabama systems used for calendars, case access, and e-filing. It may also link to outside search providers.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is supplied for general reference. An explanation of a Lee County docket is not the official case history, a signed order, an authenticated copy, or legal advice. Confirm any fact that affects a case directly with the clerk or court that keeps the record.

3. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the service in violation of federal, Alabama, or local law.
  • Threaten, harass, stalk, or harm another person.
  • Use site content for an FCRA-regulated decision.
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into the site's systems or accounts.
  • Deploy bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools.
  • Interfere with security, performance, or another visitor's access.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Lee County Court Docket is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and does not create background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Site information and linked tools may not be used to:

  • Make an employment decision.
  • Evaluate a tenant or housing application.
  • Decide credit eligibility or insurance terms.
  • Determine access to a license, permit, or government benefit when the FCRA applies.
  • Carry out any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

A regulated consumer report must be obtained through a service that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing published here is legal advice. General Lee County process information cannot determine what a charge, deadline, filing, or order means in one person's circumstances. A licensed Alabama attorney should address those questions.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • Content is complete, correct, or current at all times.
  • The website will operate without delay or interruption.
  • Every page will be free from defects or security risks.
  • An outside provider's results will be accurate or comprehensive.

Court histories change as filings arrive, settings move, orders issue, and access restrictions apply. No page on this website is an official statement from the Circuit Clerk of Lee County or any Alabama court. Verify a docket entry and court date with the office that maintains the case.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to government portals, clerk pages, legal resources, and commercial search services. Those external operators control their content, availability, prices, privacy practices, and terms. Review the outside provider's conditions before using its service.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless another owner is identified, the text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Lee County Court Docket or its content partners. They may not be copied, changed, distributed, or used to create derivative material without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, the website and its operators are not liable for loss or damage arising from use of the site, its information, or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold the website and its operators harmless from claims, demands, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

Alabama law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of the website must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in the State of Alabama. Alabama Code § 36-12-40 and judicial access rules govern public records at their source; they do not make this private site a court custodian.

12. Changes to These Terms

These conditions may be revised. An updated version takes effect when it is published on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you look up a case or docket for me?

No. This private resource has no access to an Alabama court's internal docket system. Use an official access channel or contact the correct clerk.

Can you change or confirm my court date?

No. Only the assigned court can set, reset, or confirm a hearing. Verify the latest order and setting with that court.

Is a docket entry on a linked tool official?

No. A linked result can be incomplete or stale. The clerk that maintains the original file supplies the official docket.

Where do I ask a question about these terms?

Use the contact information published on the site's Contact page.
