Why We Built This Site
Alabama makes many court records available, but access begins with custody. The Circuit Clerk of Lee County maintains Circuit and District case histories. Auburn and Opelika keep their municipal matters, and the Judge of Probate maintains probate files. The Lee Docket List is designed for daily settings, Just One Look offers paid case-level access, and AlaFile is a filing system rather than a public search. The site brings those distinctions together with verified contacts, search fields, and request steps.
What You Will Find Here
- Case-type explanations: how Lee County criminal and civil docket entries differ.
- Setting checks: how the location-coded county calendar relates to a signed notice or order.
- Search routes: when to use the Docket List, Just One Look, Alacourt, or a clerk division.
- Record requests: how to identify a document and ask the proper custodian for a plain or certified copy.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no affiliation to an Alabama court, government agency, or clerk. Those boundaries mean the site cannot:
- Retrieve an official docket sheet or court file for a visitor.
- Confirm, change, or reset a hearing date.
- Seal, remove, correct, or amend a court entry.
- Issue an authenticated docket, judgment, or order.
- Interpret a ruling or provide legal advice about a case.
- Guarantee that a court's fee, phone number, or procedure has not changed.
An official or certified Lee County record must come from the clerk or court that keeps the original. This resource can identify that office, but it cannot authenticate the document.
Search Partners
Third-party providers operate search boxes displayed on some pages. They control their own results, prices, privacy practices, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the website. Lee County Court Docket does not set partner charges or determine what a partner returns.
